Translational Research in Oral Oncology
Aims and Scope
Translational Research in Oral Oncology is an international, interdisciplinary, peer reviewed, open access journal. It provides an open access forum for the dissemination of high quality basic and clinical oncology research concerning neoplasms in the head and neck (including lip, tongue, oral cavity, oropharynx, salivary glands, sinuses, nose, nasopharynx, larynx, skull base, thyroid, and craniofacial region, and the related hard and soft tissues and lymph nodes).

In addition to original research the journal welcomes clinical trials, review articles, editorials and commentaries. Research or review papers of high quality and that make a contribution to new knowledge are invited on the following aspects of neoplasms arising in the head and neck: etiopathogenisis, epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis and detection, treatment, prognosis and management.

The journal is interdisciplinary and provides an invaluable resource for all scientific and health care professionals working with head and neck tumours, including: oral and maxillofacial surgeons, oral medicine specialists, head and neck surgeons, plastic surgeons, reconstructive surgeons, oto-rhino-laryngolists, clinical oncologists, cell and molecular biologists, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, palliative care physicians, nurses, radiologists, dieticians, public health specialists and speech and language therapists.
